By accessing or using GuestLive, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at guestlive.co.uk/terms-and-conditions. Continued use of the service after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Our Service

GuestLive is an online platform for sharing event-related media (photos, videos, and voice recordings) between event hosts and their guests.

Access is controlled by a unique event code. Event organisers and guests must treat these codes as confidential.

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.

The service is intended for private event use and not for commercial distribution without our consent.

3. User Responsibilities

By using GuestLive, you agree that you will:

  • Only upload content you have the legal right to share.
  • Not upload anything illegal, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or infringing on others' rights.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems.
  • Not share event codes or login credentials without the organiser's consent.
  • Not use the service in a way that could damage our business, systems, or reputation.

Event organisers are responsible for:

  • Deciding who has access to their event.
  • Monitoring and moderating content shared within their event.

4. Content You Upload

Ownership: You remain the owner of your content.

Licence: By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, and display your content:

  • To operate and deliver the service.
  • For GuestLive marketing and promotional purposes (unless you opt out).

Marketing Opt-Out

You can opt out of marketing use of uploaded content by contacting privacy@guestlive.co.uk. Withdrawal will not affect any lawful use already made.

We reserve the right (but are not obliged) to remove or block content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

5. Age Restrictions

GuestLive is not intended for children under 13.

Children under 13 may only use the service with verified parental consent.

Event organisers are responsible for ensuring appropriate consent for under-13 participants.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using GuestLive, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in that Policy.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep GuestLive available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend or restrict access without notice for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

We are not responsible for any loss arising from downtime, delays, or technical issues.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the service (excluding content uploaded by users) are owned by or licensed to us.

You must not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible for content uploaded by users.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised access to an event or misuse of event codes.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to GuestLive immediately if:

  • You breach these Terms.
  • You misuse the service.
  • Continued access poses a risk to our systems, other users, or the public.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
